PRS Guitars is introducing an entire line of new Satin finish instruments. Models include the Singlecut, Singlecut Trem and Singlecut Standard. The thin nitro cellulose finish has been successfully introduced with the PRS Standard 20th anniversary models in 2005.
The Singlecut Satin has the thicker Mahogany body with a maple top, two humbucking pickups, four knob configuration and comes with a stop tail. Eight translucent colors compliment regular, 10-top and Artist grade versions.
The Singlecut Trem Satin is available with a thinner Mahogany body and features a maple top also. The volume and tone controls with a 3-way toggle come in the classic PRS configuration. The Singlecut Trem Satin will be offered in regular, 10-top or Artist grade versions in eight translucent colors.
The Singlecut Standard Satin is all new with a thinner solid Mahogany body, set Mahogany neck and tremolo or stop tail option. Singlecut Standards can be ordered both with humbucking pickups or soapbar versions. Available colors are Vintage Cherry, Vintage Mahogany, Vintage Orange and Charcoal.
