VOX Expands Custom Classic Line With AC15 Custom Classic

Building on nearly a 50 year heritage, VOX Amplification exhibits the latest addition to its successful Custom Classic line of all-tube amplifiers, the AC15 Custom Classic. Joining the celebrated AC30 Custom Classic, the AC15CC combines the legendary tone and response of the renowned AC15 amplifier and delivers an impressive combination of VOX signature sound, flexibility, reliability and affordability.
First introduced in 1958, the VOX AC15 15 Watt combo has been the amp of choice for countless tone-loving guitarists throughout the world. The latest evolution of this legend offers a wider array of convenient top panel controls including Input, Master Volume, Treble and Bass. Also included is fully variable Tremolo with Speed and Depth controls, as well as global Reverb.
The AC15 Custom Classic utilizes two EL84/6BQ5 and two 12AX7/ECC83 valves. Dual speaker jacks are provided, as well as an Impedance Selector control (8 or 16 Ohms). The included VF002 dual footswitch can be used for quick and easy switching of reverb or tremolo onstage or in the studio.
Two versions are available: The AC15CC1, featuring a VOX Custom 12-inch 30 Watt speaker, or the AC15CC1X, featuring a Celestion AlNiCo "Blue" 12-inch speaker. Both models feature instantly recognizable VOX diamond grill cloth and classic "chicken head" style pointer knobs.
