Ampeg Announces BA300 and BA600 Bass Combo Amps

Ampeg announced today that new models will soon be available in their popular BassAmp Combo Series—the BA300 and BA600.

The BA300/115 and BA300/210 bass combos each crank out a staggering 300-watts of pure Ampeg tone. Top-end is supplied by a HF horn with Level control for customizing the sound. BA300's 12AX7 tube preamp, Style control, 3-Band EQ and Ultra-High/Low switches provide unmatched tonal versatility in a rugged, lightweight enclosure. A variable compressor, pre/post XLR tube DI with Level control, and Class-D switching power supply round out the package. Ampeg BA300 combos are ideal for the semi-pro to professional player seeking both modern and vintage sounds, and extreme portability.

The Ampeg BA300/115 and BA300/210 carry a U.S. manufacturer's suggested retail price of $899.99 and $999.99, respectively.

The B600/115 (single 15" driver) and BA600/210 (dual 10" drivers) each feature a 12AX7 multi-tube preamp and pack a massive 600-watts of pure Ampeg tone. BA600's Style control, 3-Band EQ, channel-switching (for vintage B15 or modern sounds) and Ultra-High/Low switches provide unmatched tonal versatility in a rugged, lightweight enclosure. A variable compressor, pre/post XLR tube DI with Level control, and Class-D switching power supply round out the package. The Ampeg BA600 combos are ideal for the semi-pro to professional player seeking both modern and vintage sounds, portability, and extremely high-powered performance.
