Audio-Technica, a leader in the design and manufacture of consumer and professional microphones, headphones, phono cartridges and accessories for over 40 years, has updated its Freeway® 200 Series Wireless Systems with new cosmetics and a space saving AC adapter. Designed for musicians, live performance, houses of worship, public address and aerobic instruction, A-T's Freeway 200 Series Wireless Systems specifically answer the strong demand for affordable, reliable wireless systems.

Available in handheld, headworn, guitar, lavalier and body-pack configurations, the Freeway 200 Series Wireless Systems are single-channel, fixed-frequency systems available in three VHF traveling frequencies (169.505, 170.245 and 171.905 MHz). The systems also feature an advanced dipole antenna system for extended operating range.

Each Freeway 200 Series Wireless System includes the ATW-R250 receiver and either a body-pack transmitter or handheld microphone/transmitter on a specific crystal controlled frequency. The ATW-R250 is a single-channel receiver with a unique space saving power supply, perfect when multiple AC power supplies are employed as part of a system. The ATW-R250 also offers squelch and volume controls, 1/4" output jack, along with AF Peak, RF and Power indicator lights.

The ATW-T201 UniPak™ transmitter, included with all 200 Series Freeway body-pack systems, features a professional 4-pin locking connector and a dual-impedance input for instruments and microphones. Five body-pack system configurations are available: the ATW-251 UniPak System (includes ATW-R250 receiver and ATW-T201 UniPak transmitter only), ATW-251/G Guitar System (includes ATW-R250 receiver, ATW-T201 UniPak transmitter with AT-GCW guitar/instrument cable), ATW-251/H Headworn Microphone System (includes ATW-R250 receiver, ATW-T201 UniPak transmitter with PRO 8HEcW headworn hypercardioid dynamic microphone), ATW-251/L Lavalier Microphone System (includes ATW-R250 receiver, ATW-T201 UniPak transmitter and miniature omni-directional lavalier microphone) and ATW-252 Handheld Microphone System (includes ATW-R250 receiver and ATW-T202 handheld dynamic unidirectional microphone/transmitter).
