Cakewalk today announces new versions of its popular SONAR Home Studio and SONAR Home Studio XL titles.

Cakewalk Publisher allows SONAR Home Studio customers to create a customized, online, streaming music player with playlists of their music that can then be directly uploaded from SONAR Home Studio to band websites, MySpace pages, and other Internet sites.

SONAR Home Studio 6 has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $139 U.S.; SONAR Home Studio 6 XL has an MSRP of $209 U.S. Both will be shipping late February, 2007.
Registered SONAR Home Studio 4 customers and other Cakewalk customers can upgrade to SONAR Home Studio 6 direct from www.cakewalk.com with prices starting at $59. Customers that purchase SONAR Home Studio 4 or SONAR Home Studio 4 XL after January 18th, 2007 will qualify for a free upgrade to the new version 6. Starting March 2007, customers can visit www.cakewalk.com to redeem their free upgrade.
Pricing and Availability Outside the US
SONAR Home Studio 6 and SONAR Home Studio 6 XL ship with English, French, and German printed documentation, and Italian and Spanish electronic Quick Start guides; along with English, French, German, and Spanish software.
SONAR Home Studio 6 is available through Roland and Edirol distribution partners. In Europe, SONAR Home Studio 6 has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of €129/£89 inc. VAT, and SONAR Home Studio 6 XL has an MSRP of €189/£129 inc. VAT. Both will be shipping late February, 2007.
Upgrades will be available to registered SONAR Home Studio customers and other Cakewalk customers in Europe direct from www.cakewalk.com or in the retail channel starting at €49.00/£35.00.
