Hughes & Kettner Adds Artist Presets To Switchblade Series Amps

The new Switchblade series of amps combines superior tube tone with the sound flexibility of fully programmable amps. For 2007, Hughes & Kettner are now adding 64 artist presets that show off the wide range of tones these amps are capable of.
"Over the last couple of months, we have been talking to loads of users about the kinds of sounds required, and then asked our sound designer Thomas Blug to turn the feedback into artist presets. The result is 64 stunning factory sounds that instantly deliver the tones our customers have asked for," says product manager Ruediger Forse.
The presets are included in all Switchblade amps as of now. Existing users may download a preset document from Hughes & Kettner's website to also get access to the new sounds. The artist presets were prepared for both, single coil and humbucker guitars. They cover all bases and range from California Clean to British Crunch and Funky to Nu Metal.
