M-Audio®, a leading provider of creative tools for computer-centric musicians, is proud to announce the release of the Studiophile™ AV 40 professional desktop reference monitors.
The Studiophile AV 40 monitors utilize the same acclaimed technology that has made M-Audio reference monitors so popular among top-shelf producers, engineers and musicians. This compact system boasts balanced and unbalanced connections, headphone output, additional aux input, video shielding and more—making it ideal for mobile workstations and multimedia desktop work.
The quality craftsmanship and internal electronics of the Studiophile AV 40 monitors differentiate them from other products at the same price point. The monitors' cabinets feature a custom design that eliminates resonances and minimizes vibration using a dense wood construction. This gives the speakers a natural, uncolored sound with a more accurate bass response than many other transportable multimedia speakers. The monitors also feature 4" polypropylene-coated drivers, 3/4" ferrofluid-cooled silk dome tweeters with OptImage III wave-guide technology, and a 20 watt-per-channel internal amplifier with audiophile-grade architecture for punchy lows, smooth highs and a balanced response.
M-Audio's proprietary OptImage III wave guide improves overall detail and clarity while minimizing sound issues that can plague other compact monitors. The system ensures that the audio from each driver reaches the listener at the same time, guaranteeing precise stereo imaging and accurate response.
