Mapex Debuts The Black Panther Blonde Birdseye Maple Snare Drum

Mapex has released a new 13x6 Blonde Birdseye Maple snare drum to its Black Panther Series. The drum's 6.1mm thick maple shell is finished with an exterior ply of beautifully figured blonde birdseye maple.
"This drum is one of the most attractive we've ever offered," said Jeff Ivester, Marketing Director for Mapex USA. "And because it's a Black Panther consumers can count on high quality and incredible sound."
The Blonde Birdseye Maple (BPBE3605XN) has 2.3mm Mapex Chrome Powerhoops for superior articulation and a fully adjustable throw off and butt plate. The drum is finish is protected with eight coats of crystal clear high gloss lacquer. MSRP for the new snare is $499.99.
