Mapex Debuts Five New Finishes For QR Series Drums

Mapex has introduced five new durable and attractive coverings to its popular entry-level QR Drum Set Series. Blue Sparkle, Burgundy Steel, Gray Steel, Indigo Steel and Peacock Swirl have been added to the series, which features basswood shells and the exclusive Mapex I.T.S. Isolated Tom Mount System which maximizes resonance.
QR Series drum sets are available in four configurations and all come with Mapex 300A Series double braced hardware and a padded drummer's throne. QR drum sets come with an instructional DVD hosted by Mapex International Clinician, Dom Famularo. MSRP for QR Series drum sets range from $729.99 to $827.99.
Consumers have additional incentive to purchase the QR Series in 2007. Mapex has recently announced that they will include a "Mapex Survival Pack" with the purchase of each VX drum set. The Mapex Survival Pack includes a logo t-shirt, a logo embroidered cap and wristbands and a nylon drawstring backpack. The Survival Pack carries a retail value of $54.96. The promotion is scheduled to run until July 1, 2007 or while supplies last.
