Ovation Unveils Its 2007 Collector's Edition Guitar

Ovation's 2007 Collectors' model incorporates several of the company's most recent innovations complemented by a unique blend of elegant styling and performance. Features include an AAA grade Bearclaw spruce top, LX scalloped bracing and Ovation's lyrachord 'GS' deep Contour bowl.
Introduced in 2006, the 'GS' Contour bowl's ergonomic design allows comfort in any playing position while maximizing acoustic output. A single, inlaid Spalted maple epaulet on the bass side of the guitar offers tremendous volume. The fingerboard features an inlayed Flame maple, elite style inlay on the 12th fret.
Ovation's VIP (Virtual Image Processing) preamp is the force behind the Collectors electric prowess. The VIP provides acoustic performance perfection - comparable to a high-end microphone in a great-sounding venue, giving players studio-quality performance to take to the stage or use in home recording.
