PRESS RELEASE
Profiler Series Guitar Amplifiers
January 20, 2007
Advertisement Crate today introduced the Profiler Series guitar amplifier line. Created as a convenient way for guitarists to practice and perform using 11 of the world's most sought after amp profiles, the Profiler Series features smart design that keeps pace with emerging technology. These amps are the first in the industry to feature USB outputs for easy computer recording. "The Profiler Series represents a unique combination of micro-processor controlled analog tone shaping and flexible and useful DSP effects implementation," said Paul Meisenzahl, Crate product manager. "These amplifiers are perfect for players who need a wide range of vintage and contemporary sounds with state-of-the-art effects processing." The Profiler Series consists of the Model 60, Model 30 and Model 5 combos. These amplifiers feature 11 classic and modern amp profiles controllable by a rotary pot. Profiler uses analog tone shaping to achieve stunningly accurate reproductions of many classic and modern guitar amplifiers. Onboard Digital Signal Processing (DSP) effects provide 11 custom modulations including Chorus, Flange, Wah and Tremolo. Profiler also has separate Delay, Reverb and 3-band EQ controls. The Profiler Series includes the Model 60, a 60-watt system with a 12-inch speaker; the Model 30, a 30-watt system with a 10-inch speaker; and the Model 5, a 5-watt stereo system with two, 4-inch speakers, stereo DSP and AC or battery powered operation. The Model 60, Model 30 and Model 5 have a U.S. manufacturer's suggested retail price of $569.99, $299.99 and $209.99 respectively.
