ESI Now Shipping Firewire Audio Interface DuaFire
January 14, 2008
ESI will showcase the Firewire Audio Interface DuaFire at the Winter 2008 NAMM show, booth #6832
DuaFire is the first FireWire Audio interface that perfectly supports the highly acclaimed EWDM driver technology from ESI. The hardware itself features 2 input and 4 output channels, including a microphone preamp, RIAA phono inputs, line level and Hi-Z instrument inputs as well as line outputs and a headphone output. The driver software features our famous DirectWIRE interface that allows the recording and routing of audio signals between various audio applications inside the system without using external cables. DuaFire works not only under current Windows versions including Windows Vista, but also under Mac OS X — incl. Leopard.
"DuaFire is the first compact external audio interface we are shipping worldwide that features our new aluminum & white product design. So, it does not only sound good, it also looks really nice." says Claus Riethmuller, Managing Director of ESI Audiotechnik GmbH.
The MSRP of DuaFire is €249. The street price will be below that, making DuaFire an extremely affordable solution that stands out among the huge number of audio interfaces on the market these days. DuaFire is bundled with Cubase LE 4.0 from Steinberg, for both Mac OS X and Windows.
DuaFire is now shipping to our resellers and will be available at music retailers by the end of this month. For more information, visit their web site at www.esi-audio.com.
