Roland is proud to announce the new HPi-7S/HPi-6S Digital Piano Series. This new lineup comes equipped with Roland's proprietary DigiScore system and provides players with ingenious ways to inspire children to sit down at the piano and practice, without losing interest. Learning to play the piano has never been this much fun!

The flagship HPi-7S takes the fun and enjoyment of making music at home to a whole new level. For the most authentic grand-piano sound and feel, it's equipped with Roland's 88-key stereo multi-sampled piano sound, a PHA PHA II "Ivory Feel" keyboard with Escapement, and an immersive 4-speaker sound system. With a side, extra-wide color LCD for easy viewing, Digiscore notation, and the Visual Lesson feature, the HPi-7S is the perfect solution for piano students and teachers everywhere.

A streamlined version of the HPi-7S, the new HPi-6S is loaded with flagship features, including Roland's acclaimed 88-key stereo multi-sampled piano sound engine, a PHA II keyboard with Escapement, a color LCD with Digiscore notation, Visual Lesson, and a 4-speaker sound system.

For quick play back, the HPi series pianos are equipped with Roland's Audio Port, which lets players connect an iPod® or any portable music player, for play-along fun.

The built-in USB port opens a world of exciting add-ons and extra functionality. Play along with audio files or Standard MIDI files directly from a USB key, or layer pre-recorded music by connecting a USB CD drive (optional). The unique Center Cancel feature allows karaoke enthusiasts to minimize the vocal so they can sing-along with their favorite songs.

For onboard music data, the HPi series includes 50 sampler songs from the acclaimed Microjazz catalogue, a world famous series of pieces based on classical technique, using popular contemporary styles including jazz, blues, rock, and funk. By combining Microjazz's music with the Visual Lesson features of Digiscore, you can add an exciting and interactive dimension to practice sessions and performances.
