INFRASONIC, one of brands of SIMS audio (Samick Innovative Music System), will display its new high-end Headphone Amplifier with DAC, S.DAC5, in NAMM show; Booth# 3082.
The S.DAC5 headphone amplifier is equipped with BurrBrown PCM1792 OP AMP, the best DAC chip available, which delivers dynamic range of 132dB (mono, 129dB for stereo) to cover all the frequencies that can be heard by human ears. The amplifier supports up to a 24-bit/192kHz sample format and can accept a wide variety of inputs including: SPDIF, RCA, AES/EBU, XLR, TRS, or TS. S.DAC5 has balanced XLR output and headphone outputs with different impedances to give flexibility using headphones with it.
Dual polarity power supply and solid capacitors are used to provide and ensure stable power while S.DAC5 is operating. S.DAC5 is connected to the computer with USB 2.0 High-Speed connection. It gives fast transfer rate (480Mbps), low CPU usage, and low latency when the application is running. S.DAC5 is driven with native ASIO 2.2 driver which works great in any application and provide best stability and low latency.
All the controls on S.DAC5 are touchpad type, so it's very convenient to select input source and adjust volume. DOT Matrix LED on front panel will displays useful information including graphic EQ and playback frequency.
