Advertisement Expanding on Schecter' extremely popular HELLRAISER COLLECTION, the new SUNSET FR was debuted at NAMM. Based on Schecter's popular CET custom shop body, this new Hellraiser is sure to catch the attention of rock and metal players alike! As with all 2008 Hellraiser models, the guitar is armed with the new 81TW/89combo of EMG Active Humbuckers. Designed for Schecter, the new EMG 81TW allows the player to go from the classic metal crunch of the ever popular 81 to a clean, Gilmouresqe SA.by pulling the VOLUME control. The neck position 89 can also be individually 'tapped' to make the new Hellraisers a ver versatile 'metal machine' The Sunset also features an Original Floyd Rose locking tremolo system. Other features include Set-in 3pc Mahongay neck with Schecter's popular UltraAccess joint, allowing unobstructive reach to the upper 24 frets. The rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with the Hellraiser's popular 'Gothic cross' pattern. The offset body Mahogany body features elbow and waist comfort cuts and is bound in stunning Abalone and Grey Pearl. A newly designed reverse headstock is also standard. The new Hellraiser Sunset FR is available in Gloss Black or Black Cherry (which also features a quilted maple top and matching headstock).
