PRESS RELEASE

Pinstripe Finish To Master "Handcrafted" Series

January 25, 2008

Following the success of their "Handcrafted Original" Master Series line of congas, bongos and djembes, Tycoon Percussion is proud to announce the introduction of a second hand-carved style, the Master "Handcrafted Pinstripe" finish. According to Quincy Yu, General Manager of Tycoon Percussion, the classic, exclusive and exotic appearance of the "Handcrafted Pinstripe" finish was developed to highlight the custom quality and superior performance of the drums.

"The hand-carving process is a visible, important feature of the entire Master 'Handcrafted' Series," Yu comments, "but it also represents just how exceptional this line of drums really is. Equally important to their look is their wonderful sound quality and reliability in any live or recorded situation. This is only possible because each drum is produced in our own factory to the highest standards under the strictest quality control."

Master "Handcrafted Pinstripe" congas are available in an 11˝ Quinto, 11-3/4˝ Conga and 12-1/2˝ Tumba and feature hand-selected Siam Oak shells and premium-grade water buffalo heads. The drums come equipped with reinforced side plates, heavy-duty 3/8˝ tension rods, die-cast handles and deluxe, low-profile counterhoops in antique copper hardware. Matching 10˝ Requinto, bongos and djembes, along with a wide range of stands, cases and accessories, are also offered.
