The Liquid Metal Guitar Company Starts shipping LMG "T" Guitar
January 09, 2009
Advertisement The LMG "T" is the third model in the company's line of aluminum bodied guitars. "It is our interpretation of the classic work horse guitar with our exclusive collection of enhancements" says Phil Cook , Owner of The Liquid Metal Guitar Company. " As with all our guitars, the LMG "T" has a proprietary aluminum body hewn out of a single block of dense aircraft aluminum to the perfect thickness for maximum clarity of sound. The through the body string guides are, as well, a contiguous feature of the body that enhances the clearness of sound. "We worked again with Lindy Fralin on this guitar and have taken his traditional telecaster style bridge pickup, over wound it 15%, to take advantage of the aluminum body's physics and matched that with a P92 on the neck. This gives the guitar a fantastic range of sound from the unmistakable tele twang of the bridge pick up to the beautiful full body warmth of the neck. " This matched set takes full advantage of the spectacular enhancing sound qualities The Liquid Metal Guitar Company has become know for in their guitars. The body finish is machined aluminum, simply, elegant and functional covered with a new tough clear coat used on luxury cars such as Mercedes-Benz. "As with all of our guitars we do things that are unique to metal, what we do can't be duplicated in wood or plastic." We created our own ashtray bridge, using GRAPHTECH saddles, that is again integral with the body and we have an updated easy to play neck with an 8% headstock angle and GRAPHTECH nut design to keep the strings where the should be. Phil Cook says " Every knows the tele this is our homage to that guitar with our secrets blended seamlessly in to make it something very familiar yet unique and exceptional." Come and see our guitars for yourself at the NAMM Show
We are in DR Handmade Strings Booth , # 4184
The Liquid Metal Guitar Company is based in Vancouver, B.C.
For more information on the Liquid Metal Guitar Company Contact Phil Cook at: 604-719-1403 or tphilip@liquidmetalguitars.com For more information, visit their web site at http://www.liquidmetalguitars.com/.
