Sennheiser Demonstrates "The Right Mic" For All Musicians At Winter NAMM

Advertisement Musicians are always looking for the "The Right Mic." Once again, Sennheiser (Booth #6579) will be showcasing their wide range of evolution microphones. An amazing lineup of musicians will take the Sennheiser product stage in twenty-minute sets Thursday, January 15th through Sunday, January 18th to demonstrate "The Right Mic" for a wide range of instruments, vocal timbres and musical styles. The live NAMM demonstrations will complement Sennheiser's continuing in-store point-of-purchase program, which direct users to the "The Right Mic" for any given application. Musicians whose genres range from soul to hard rock and from acoustic folk to Irish punk will highlight the versatility of Sennheiser's celebrated line of evolution wired and wireless mics. Dawn Thomas, whose voice and lyrics will move you deep down in your soul, will start things off with a set at noon on Thursday, January 15th. She'll take the stage again at 2:00pm. The eclectic indie-rock-folk band from Los Angeles, Raining Jane, will demonstrate Sennheiser's ability to capture vocal nuances with sets at 1:00 and 3:30pm. The Strange Familiar, with their intimate, yet powerful style, will perform at 1:30 and 3:30pm. And finally, with the power of Aretha and the stage presence of Tina Turner, Candace Devine will close Thursday's demonstrations with a set at 4:30pm. Friday's lineup promises a particularly wide range of styles. A trained vocalist, pianist, and flutist, Adjoa Skinner's sets at noon and 2:30pm will highlight Sennheiser's wide dynamic microphone range. Damon Cooper will share with attendees his musical stylings that combine soul, gospel, blues, country and R&B at 1:00 and 3:30pm. Amazingly compelling performer, Joan Jones, will play at 1:30 and 4:30pm. And closing out the day's demonstrations with be The Dirge's raw folk/punk with sets at 3:00 and 5:00pm. Hitting the stage at noon and 2:30pm on Saturday, Debbie Holiday's powerful, soulful voice will beautifully illustrate the depth and transparent clarity of the evolution series vocal mics. Next on the docket, The Rescues, comprised of four successful and critically acclaimed solo singer-songwriters in their own right, will take the stage at 1:00 and 3:00pm. Award-winning singer/songwriter, Tony Lucca will take the stage with his guitar and a handful of heartfelt songs at 1:30 and 4:30pm. And finally, with a voice that has been compared to Freddie Mercury, Ryan Hill will perform a couple amazing pop/rock and blues sets at 3:30 and 5:00pm. Nothing kicks off Sunday like the Irish folk/punk group The Mighty Regis! They will demo the Sennheiser gear with their comedy-infused tunes at noon and then again at 2:30pm. And then, taking most of their influence from early American Roots music, Soul Puppet will take the stage at 1:00 and 3:00pm. Next on the line-up is Michiko, with her raw and hauntingly unique voice, performing at 1:30 and 3:30 pm. And last, but certainly not least, Candace Devine will return to the stage to close Sunday's demonstrations with a set at 4:30pm.
